It's an exciting time to join the team as our brands and products continue to grow, we are looking for enthusiastic and experienced sales professionals to join our team focussing on new business development.
Targets are very achievable with a generous commission scheme once probation has been passed.
As SME New Business Sales Representative, you will be working across all three major brands, workingmums, workingdads & workingwise, day to day responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Lead generation: qualifying sales leads using various tools to drive new business & increasing WM People brand awareness.
Speaking directly to clients to build new business revenue & customer relationships
Arrange meetings with key decision-makers with SMEs, and mid-sized organisations via cold-calling, emailing, self generated leads and social selling
Responsible for selling our online advertising products to SMEs, and mid-sized organisations
Account management of the new business you bring on with renewal and upsell opportunities
Keeping up to speed with how the central team can support you through editorial, event coverage and marketing activity
Participation in regular sales team meetings
Ensuring CRM is always updated
Essential Skills & Requirements
Strong new business sales experience - first and foremost, you will be a revenue earner, so the more calls and contacts you make, the more you’ll earn
A recruitment, recruitment advertising or online media background (previous jobs board experience would be an advantage but not essential)
A tenacious, organised and customer focused approach is equally important
Being a good team player is essential - we all work very closely as a team
A good home office IT set-up is an important with reliable broadband

Where will I work?
WM People operate in a hybrid working way with a combination office and home based working, with regular meetings in London. A complete training and induction programme will be provided virtually and face to face in London.
