Permanent role

Location - flexible, however due to the nature of this role there is an emphasis on attending 'the relevant office/work location' for collaboration with other team members every week i.e. Dartford / Sale

What will the role look like?

• The environmental subject matter expert on prequalification's and bids. Planning, writing, evidencing, and reviewing bid responses with other bid team members and our proposals team.
• Providing environmental sustainability support and management to work winning, serving all business units, and sharing environmental sustainability best practice and initiatives across the business.
• Coordination, support and delivery of all environmental sustainability work winning submissions and developing project specific environmental execution strategies to meet client requirements.
• Collecting, producing, managing and promoting environmental best practice case studies across the business, through site visits, collective insights and good relationships with operational ES teams, contributing to proposals collateral.

What qualifications, skills & experience are we looking for?

• A proven Environmental sustainability background with broad understanding of topical issues.
• A relevant Degree [i.e. BSc] and Membership of a relevant professional body (or working towards it).
• Detailed understanding of the aspects of construction Environmental Management (including EMS, S61, waste, carbon etc), sustainability assessment schemes and Client ES agendas.
• Concise, technical writing ability.
• Excellent computer literacy to produce, manage, share and review information collaboratively (Teams, Sharepoint, Office365, Onedrive) to produce high quality documents.
• Clear and robust data management, tracking and presentation capabilities.
• Understanding of Environmental Assessment tools including for example BREEAM, LEED and CEEQUAL
