Our busy and diverse IT department is looking for a Business Systems Manager who will be responsible for our Business Requirements Process function in our Business Systems team, that resides in our IT Department at Sytner Group.

We're looking for a motivated and ambitious individual, who understands how outstanding technology solutions can make to our organisation in improving the customer journey.

The role will be aligned to software engineering, automation, and DMS functions from a business process perspective and will liaise with business leaders to ensure requirements are gathered and help report back the progress of these appropriately.

Responsibilities of the role
Facilitate the establishment of team structure and roles, hiring and on-boarding Analysts, and ensure adequate resource and talent allocation.
Manage colleague/team performance by setting objectives and performance metrics, and standards and conducting performance reviews.
Manage service requests and project progress.
Manage escalated project issues.
Ability to identify, manage, and resolve conflict while building successful business relationships across a range of stakeholder groups
Participate in planning and developing company-wide IT strategies.
Engage with key business and IT stakeholders to identify changing business priorities and requirements and introduce new processes and technology to enhance the Business Analysis service offering.
Lead the development of feasibility studies, cost/benefit analyses, business case development, and risk assessments for various technology projects.
Perform use-case analysis to model the interactions between systems and users
Identify how business requirements may be supported by business systems
Document requirements as user stories with user acceptance criteria within Azure DevOps
Deliver on commitments, and work collaboratively within the Engineering team
Ability to identify business risks and provide solutions to mitigate them
Ability to communicate coherently to non-technically minded business stakeholders
Work with Software Engineering, Automation and DMS functions, using Agile framework, to progress solution delivery
Requirements of the role
Knowledge of current trends and innovations in technology infrastructure and computer software applications
Strong team leadership and development skills
Facilitation, negotiation and problem resolution skills
Strategic Thinking: Ability to prioritize and balance multiple tasks or projects.
Specific knowledge of business analysis methodologies and tools
Familiarity with business process improvement
