Capgemini’s Relaunch Programme is aimed at supporting talented professionals back into the business by providing a tailored 6-month programme to help refresh and update existing skills as well as developing confidence. We understand that you won’t necessarily match every requirement on the job description but will have some relevant previous experience and a willingness to learn and further develop your skills in this area. An exciting opportunity has arisen for an individual that is looking for a new HR challenge, we are seeking an experience and qualified HR manager to work within the Capgemini Core Services UK HR Manager Team and will play an integral part in advising, engaging and supporting the Cloud Infrastructure Services (CIS) .

The HR Manager will to support the execution of the People Strategy and operational duties to ensure that we have a cohesive set of HR services and initiatives that provide an employee experience which aligns to our local business strategies and group direction. Our ambitious growth strategy is a real focus for our people and teams.

Your role

Often a fast-paced environment, we are looking for someone with the ability to handle multiple demanding projects and priorities at any given time with passion, an innovative mindset and integrity.

Motivated, collaborative and determined you will:

  • Support the CIS HR Business Partners with their objectives and contribute to the people agenda through projects and initiatives including people management education & training.
  • Carry out regular and in-depth tracking and reporting to the business on all elements of people data, at all levels of the organisation leading to presentation of solutions to senior business leaders. 
  • Provide well-constructed advice and solutions to managers, promoting best practice & innovative thinking on case management with resolution at the heart.
  • Engage with the organisation’s employee base on a constant basis, taking part in the business to fully understand business challenges, whilst also helping employees navigate the wealth of resources available to them.

Your profile

  • You will bring a real passion for change and proactively encouraging new and bold ideas. You will have an innovative and be open minded, harnessing progressive thinking to drive change.
  • At your core you will need to bring an ability to interact, engage, influence and have credibility at all levels, especially senior management as well as be able to navigate a complex political landscape with ease and discretion.
  • You will have proven experience in a HR generalist role with a good understanding of employment law and case management.
  • Be able to prioritise and proactively manage multiple cases and small projects whilst working to tight deadlines.
  • Articulate and diplomatic communicator who can engage with a wide network of stakeholders and manage their needs.
  • Good attention to detail and enjoys working with data with strong Excel and Powerpoint
  • An excellent team player with the ability to successfully collaborate with colleagues acting as part of one HR team.
  • You will have strong verbal and written communications in both formal and informal settings and be confident to present all levels and varying size of teams / communities
  • CIPD qualified
