An Overview of the Role

Capgemini’s Relaunch Programme is aimed at supporting talented professionals back into the business by providing a tailored 6-month programme to help refresh and update existing skills as well as developing confidence. We understand that you won’t necessarily match every requirement on the job description but will have some relevant previous experience and a wiliness to learn and further develop your skills in this area. If you have had a career break of  1 ½ years or beyond, for whatever reason, we would love to hear from you!

As a Project Manager this is an exciting time to be joining us as we support large scale client transformation across a wide range of technologies

The Role

There is a wide range of project types  and whilst most of those projects are for HMRC other clients are also supported.

We’re excited to be offering this opportunity to join our rapidly expanding team, working at the forefront of technology. You will create, manage and continuously improve one or more programmes using agile and lean principles and methodologies, typically to deliver a specific product or transformation via a number of multi-disciplinary, highly skilled teams.  You will work with product managers and the delivery team to establish delivery priorities and plans, manage risks and dependencies, and remove blockers.

The Work

You will have great stakeholder management skills, enabling you to build good relationships and communicate effectively and be adept at delivering complex projects, breaking down barriers for your team and dealing with escalations.

As a Project Manager you will be responsible for:

  • Delivery of end to end projects
  • Co-ordination and management of project team members
  • Management of all aspects of delivery including risks, issues, scope, cost and timeline
  • Regular progress and financial reporting
