Job Title: Receptionist & Office Management Assistant

Reporting to: Office Manager
Contract: Part time (9:30am– 3pm Monday to Friday including a 30-minute unpaid lunch break each day) and permanent contract
Salary: £23,000 per annum (full time equivalent)
Location: Office-based at 47 Bedford Square, London WC1B 3DP
Job Summary
We are seeking an enthusiastic receptionist for this non-publishing role of Receptionist and Office Management Assistant. Key responsibilities include operating the telephone switchboard, meeting and greeting visitors to the press, organising incoming and outgoing deliveries, couriers and post, performing all other defined reception duties, and providing support to the Office Manager.
Purpose of job
To act as the professional, public interface for Yale University Press London, and to assist the Office Manager.

• familiarity with Microsoft Word and Excel, and Adobe Acrobat
• an interest in books and publishing
Desirable
• administrative/reception experience is advantageous but not essential
• high general standard of education
• basic computer skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office & Google Workspace
