Overview
Sitting within the International Consumer Content and Marketing team, this role’s primary function is to provide administrative support, both in terms of documenting and distributing team communications and collating team presentations and projects. Working closely with the Content Sourcing & Acquisitions Senior Managers as well as the wider content team, the role is also responsible for updating various tracking systems and team resource folders.
**12 month fixed term contract**
Responsibilities
- Attend team meetings and calls (inc. weekly acquisitions meetings and US quarterly pipeline calls) to document minutes and any actionable tasks
- Collate regular presentations of content market highlights (eg. Mip new release round ups, screening highlights etc.)
- Compiling weekly email newsletters and workplace posts detailing content deal updates
- Assist members of the content team in gathering intel for projects, including picture and synopsis sourcing and any general administrative support required.
Qualifications
- Strong verbal and written communication, with the ability to present to various groups when required
- Proficient skills across different programs, inc. PowerPoint, Google Slides, Excel etc.
- An understanding of Discovery’s place within the EMEA media landscape
- Ability to embrace change and handle routinely shifting priorities
- A positive and proactive attitude to tasks
