Job Details

FSCS's mission is to provide a trusted compensation service to its customers and raise consumer confidence in the finance industry.

We're looking for someone with keen attention to detail, who loves creating high quality content for social media, to join our team for 12 months on a full-time basis. You will be covering one of our content editors for a period of maternity leave, and your main responsibility will be looking after both organic and paid content for our social media channels - Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn.

You'll also handle any enquires that come into us through social media, and keep an eye out for opportunities to collaborate and share with others to amplify our messages. There'll also be opportunities to get involved in creating and editing content for other channels including our website, podcast, videos, customer communications, and publications. It's a varied role, in a creative and talented communications team.

You'll have the freedom to make decisions on how best to explain what we do to a variety of audiences. You don't need experience in financial services, but the role will definitely suit someone who is interested in money and personal finance.

It is a full-time position and due to the nature of the role we do need someone who can work Monday to Friday. But, the hours definitely don't need to be 9-5 - we offer a lot of flexibility. You'll need to be in our London office at least two days a week, and the rest of the time, you can work where you choose!

Company

The Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS) helps people get back on track by protecting them when authorised financial services firms fail. We’re independent and cover all regulated financial services in the UK. Since our launch in 2001 we’ve come to the aid of millions of people and paid out billions in compensation.
