Support Worker

Our client is looking for a Support Worker, who will provide physical and emotional support and health care of the highest standard, ensuring that respect, dignity, and confidentiality is maintained at all times.

Location: Nottingham

Salary: £18,540 - £20,315 per annum (£9.61 - £10.53 per hour) plus enhancements

Hours: 37 per week, full and part time considered

Closing Date: 31st May 2022

About the role of Support Worker:

You will be providing personalised support to individuals with varying needs at the project and within the community. Your duties depend on the needs of the citizens and may include but are not limited to:

 

  • Personal care
  • Administering and/or helping with Medication
  • Meal preparation and advocating a healthy lifestyle
  • Helping the clients to take part in a wide range of special interests and activities
  • Improving confidence and independence
  • Tenancy related support and budgeting/debt management

 

The service currently operates 7 days a week between 7am – 10pm including bank holidays and weekends so it is essential you are flexible and willing to work on a rota basis. Part time hours will also be considered.

About you:

You need to be able to prove an understanding towards individuals who are experiencing great changes in their lives that may have learning difficulties, autism, and some behaviours of concern. If your personal values are caring, learning, enthusiastic, accountable, and resilient – we want to hear from you.

Previous experience in a similar role is desirable, although not essential as full training will be provided.
