As a Test Team Manager within the Test Engineering Department function your main focus would be to coordinate the development activities of the test team. The dedicated test team are active in developing and deploying the test systems required to introduce our new products to manufacturing.

What you'll do:

  • Work with the project Development teams to understand the product requirements and project timescales.
  • Define the requirements of manufacturing test.
  • Schedule the activities within the manufacturing test team.
  • Liaise with the manufacturing partners on implementation of the chosen test strategy.
  • Conduct the stage gate sign off activities to meet mass production.

What you'll bring:

  • Good communicator across a number of disciplines
  • Good organisational skills and able to re-schedule parallel projects.
  • Fluent in using windows office applications
  • Experience of product development
  • Knowledge of statistical process control and six sigma principles.
  • Ability to work with and coordinate local and offshore teams.

Our location takes some beating: we're practically in Brentwood station, which has regular trains to London Liverpool Street. If you find it easier to drive, there's some onsite parking, while Chatham Way car park is a short walk away.
