Job Details

You will be part of an energetic Logistics team with asset management expertise, delivering vital support for Content, Broadcast & Production Engineering by providing purchasing, logistics, equipment preparation, storage and asset tracking capabilities of the highest quality.

What you'll do:
  • Manage purchasing of vital Support Spares and tracking of Sky Broadcast assets and stock, gaining knowledge with various data management systems.

  • Receive and prepare (e.g. asset tag; PAT) expensive cutting-edge infrastructure equipment, from studio cameras and Production systems to Editing, Content Management, Playout and Monitoring, ready for installation and operator use.

  • Maintain effective safe and secure storage and tracking capabilities, working within first-class onsite Technical Store locations as part of an experienced Logistics team.

  • Assist Project and Support teams with on-site logistics and equipment tracking, including delivery and collection of flight cases to Outside Broadcast venues.

  • Liaise with various suppliers, 3rd-party couriers and Goods In/Out to process incoming deliveries, package and arrange supplier returns (RMAs) and organise disposal of equipment that's End of Life.

  • Conduct regular and ad-hoc audits of assets and stock inside Technical Stores locations and for equipment installed in operational site/off-site locations.

What you'll bring:
  • An engaging "can do" enthusiasm to ever changing Logistics problem solving challenges.

  • Strong attention to detail with an assertiveness for accurate and informative registration, labelling and tracking of equipment.

  • A hardworking and process driven work ethic, with a passion for working in a Logistics environment (previous experience desirable).

  • Qualifications that demonstrate a good level of education and computer literacy essential for working in a collaborative internal customer-facing environment.

  • A desire to be part of an energetic and dedicated team working long days from 07:00 to 17:00 with a flexible one-day per week TOIL.

  • A full UK driving licence and willingness to drive a LWB van with tail lift and transport equipment around the Osterley campus and to/from off-site locations.
