 This is a fantastic opportunity for the successful candidate to join right at the start of a greenfield transformation to plan, coordinate, and supervise all activities related to the technical design, development and implementation of systems and software applications. The Application Development Manager is also responsible for supporting and upgrading existing systems and applications alongside applying proven team management, communication skills, problem-solving skills, and knowledge of best practices to guide the development team

The Application Development & Support Manager’s role is to plan, coordinate, and supervise all activities related to the technical design, development and implementation of FSCS information systems and software applications including; Customer Relationship Management, Workflow Management, Document Management, Microsoft Power Apps and Data Integration (SSIS). The Development Manager is also responsible for supporting and upgrading existing systems and applications, working closely with the IT Operations Support Manager. This individual will apply proven team management, communication skills, problem-solving skills, and knowledge of best practices to guide the development team on issues related to the design, development, and deployment of mission-critical information and software systems. The Development Manager will be required to work closely with and manage suppliers and partners to deliver high quality solutions to the business.

Experience
*The Development Manager will be required to work closely with and manage suppliers and partners to deliver high quality solutions to the business.
*The Development Manager must have extensive experience of implementing and supporting modern CRM applications (e.g. Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, Pega) and integrating these with the other systems.
*It is preferable to have experience of Siebel and migrating from Siebel to other CRM applications.
*In-depth technical knowledge including application architecture, application development lifecycle methodology (SDLC) and database architectures
*Extensive knowledge and experience of managing application development lifecycle from requirements through to delivery and acceptance
*Extensive knowledge of Agile development methodology, and proficient in the application of SCRUM framework
*Knowledge on CI/CD practice and the various components that are required to achieve it: version control, branching strategies, builds, release pipelines, automated testing, infrastructure as code and configuration as code
*Working knowledge of Azure Cloud Resource Management, Cost Management, Development and Data services
*Working knowledge and management of Azure DevOps
