Job Details

What you'll do:
  • Work in conjunction with the SRE platform manager to define, own and deliver the non-production environments strategy ensuring we evolve towards having dynamic, self-service environments that support fast pace continuous delivery.

  • Support process and technology for tracking releases, upgrades and changes to the development and test environments

  • Support the wider environment plan to meet the demands of the delivery projects

  • Working with the test teams and Build teams to ensure there is efficient use of available environments (reuse or decommission of environment when testing is complete)

  • Ensure common approach to monitoring and associated alerting within environments.

  • Implement automated mechanism for conveying environments setup of underlying components to appropriate standards including integration points

What you'll bring:
  • Proven track record in implementing (Automated) large scale environment strategies utilising cutting edge tools, methodologies and processes.

  • At least 3 years' experience in Environment Management role or similar. (build manager, integration manager, Dev Ops manager, configuration manager)

  • In depth knowledge of release management, quality gates, processes, tools and techniques

  • Proven experience in dealing with configuration management, deployment, scripts etc.

  • Strong Stakeholder management experience
