Sustainability Senior Manager

Want to be part of leading CCEP’s ambitious sustainability targets? If you want to be at the forefront of making a difference then this could be the role for you!

CCEP’s commitment is to achieve net zero carbon emissions by 2040 and, with roughly 50% of our carbon emissions associated with packaging, achieving this goal will require transformational change in our business over the next 20 year!

This role is an opportunity to be at the heart of that change – leading the delivery of specific elements of our ‘This is Forward’ programme, working with internal and external stakeholders to create impactful programmes that bring our strategies to life and enhance our corporate reputation.

Key Responsibilities

Delivering CCEP’s sustainability plan This is Forward

  • Lead delivery of three key pillars within GB – ‘Action on Packaging’, ‘Action on Water’ and ‘Action on Drinks’ – responsible for oversight and delivery of all related targets in the GB Business Unit, achieving delivery through matrix working with other key functions
  • Providing programme management and detailed performance reporting as part of This is Forward governance processes, using this to drive decision-making with senior leaders and, where relevant, to access resources necessary to deliver on goals
  • Lead collation of our key data for internal and external reporting (e.g. Integrated Report, UK Plastics Pact, Courtauld etc.)
  • Own and manage relationships with key external partners (e.g. trade associations, Keep Britain Tidy and Keep Scotland Beautiful etc.) ensuring we align our relationships with delivery of our core ‘This is Forward’ commitments
  • Input into regular communications forums to ensure we’re promoting our sustainability activities to internal/external stakeholders
  • Attending external events and representing CCEP by speaking in various internal and external sustainability forums.

About you; we’d love you to have some of the below

  • Sound knowledge and passion for all things sustainability
  • 5+ years’ experience working in a similar role within a large corporate organisation
  • Demonstrable experience running projects/campaigns end-to-end – initial concept, forming  and leading cross-functional teams, measuring and delivering results
