We are looking for an HR Trainee / HR Apprentice to join our Group People Team, based in Letchworth, Hertfordshire, as a Systems and Reward Trainee. This role will be an apprenticeship on an appropriate apprenticeship programme. The role will offer a balance of office and homeworking, although you may be required to be in the office more frequently in the initial weeks of the role.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, diligent and proactive person who will assist with the initiation, development and implementation of Group-wide digital HR projects that improve our employee experience and create efficiencies for our people teams. This person will support with all requests for reporting and data analysis, enabling our teams to make data-driven decisions. They will also provide support on reward and benefits projects, including everything from research to implementation.

The Systems and Reward Trainee will be a superuser on our HR systems and will provide support for the team whilst building their personal knowledge and skills in HR through a structured training programme.

We're looking for someone with A-Levels and good written and numeracy skills. An ability to use MS office applications, particularly Excel, at least to an intermediate level is essential. We would also like someone who has a high attention to detail, is able to work unassisted and who can use their initiative to organise their own workload.
