Legal Cashier

A leading firm in the Liverpool area who have been established for c150 years are recruiting for a part-time Legal Cashier to join their team. They are a well-established firm who pride themselves on providing an outstanding service to their clients over a diverse range of law areas, which has resulted in continued repeat business over the past few years.

Working for a firm that are dedicated to client care, you will be part of a busy accounts department and will report into the Head Cashier. Ensuring full compliance with the SRA Accounts Rules, your main job role will consist of but not be limited to the following:

Overseeing daily banking, cheque payments and petty cash
Matching & reconciling bank statements daily
Assisting with the posting of nominal expenses
Assisting with supplier statements, month & year ends
Overseeing payments to and from deposit accounts
Identifying breaches of the SAR's and taking steps to prevent further issues
Bank reconciliationsAs the successful Legal Cashier you will ideally have at least 2 years experience in a Legal Cashier role alongside strong numeracy skills & attention to detail. You will have the ability to communicate effectively with internal colleagues as well as external clients, providing an exceptional service.
