The Chief Security Office provides the Group with policies, programmes and operations to mitigate, eliminate and monitor threats to people, property and technology. It is a dynamic and constantly evolving world where your knowledge and efforts can deliver tangible results to the security of LBG.

Vulnerability Management is adapting to the challenges brought from the technology shift to Cloud and Serverless, the adoption of engineering practices like DevOps and Agile, and the fact that Internet-scale weaknesses can't be met with the classic approach of scan, report, fix. We are currently expanding our data analysis platform and are looking for experienced Python Developers to join the team.

Our technology stack is: FastAPI, Python, PyArrow, Cloud Run, GCP

To meet these challenges, we are looking for someone who has:

  • Substantial, demonstrable industry experience using Python

  • Experience processing large volumes of data

  • Experience delivering containerized applications

About you;

  • Loves to learn and maintains a good knowledge of technology and software engineering patterns as they are innovated and evolved

  • Demonstrates creativity and curiosity. We actively encourage alternate viewpoints and embrace diversity and challenge

Ideally, you will have the following;

  • Experience engineering or supporting systems in Cloud and Serverless environments (preferably Google Cloud Platform)

  • Experience working using agile principles and using collaboration platforms such as Atlassian Jira/Confluence and GitHub

  • Experience working with front-end technologies (JavaScript, HTML and CSS)

***This role can be based out of our Bristol, Birmingham, Cardiff, Edinburgh, Halifax, Leeds, Chester or London hubs - we're mainly looking for the above skillsets. The broad base salary banding across the UK is from £53,000pa to £80,000pa. Salaries in the London area will be reflected towards the upper end of this bracket***
