Job Details

As a Trading Manager, you will be responsible for delivering in quarter performance targets. You will need to understand all commercial KPIs across your routes to market, provide insights into performance and create ideas and recommendations to optimise P&L performance.

You will need to be a strong collaborator with Trading, Product and Commercial teams, Contact Centre Operations and Finance as well as have strong communication skills and able to present to and influence decision making at Head of Department, Director and MD level.

What you'll do:
  • Deliver consistent, quality analysis daily / weekly across your route to market to understand factors that positively and negatively impact in quarter Product performance; working closely with Commercial, Trading Performance and Contact Centre Operations to ensure delivery of appropriate recovery or improvement plans.
  • Find innovate ways for us to drive performance across our Products and routes to market by understanding levers to improve performance.
  • Work closely with our Contact Centre Operations to bring together qualitative and quantitative analysis with a bigger picture lens.
  • Manage end to end Product view of routes to market across a number of sites and products
  • Proactively influence the planning process, for a quarter out, feeding in route to market nuances and considerations
  • Provide quarterly wash ups of Trading Performance
  • End to end ownership of route to market planning
  • Identifying / understanding Headroom opportunity within the products in the routes to market
  • Influencing and contribute towards setting the overall strategy
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders across the matrix based on collaboration, trust and delivery
What you'll bring:
  • Deep understanding of data with the ability to link quantitative and qualitative inputs to produce actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Ability to mine data sets to create reusable views and forecast modelling to build business cases. Advance Excel skills are essential. Tableau skills would be advantageous.
  • Credible communicator and able to present work to the route to market to the Head of Trading, with excellent presentation skills (written and verbal). Ability to link quantitative and qualitative inputs to create meaningful storytelling in PowerPoint with a clear layout that conveys a concise story.
  • Tireless and results driven mentality, able to continually critique and optimise performance with a positive mind-set. In a high profile, pressurised environment
  • Able to work across a matrix organisation with the product owners, trading functions and Contact Centre Operations ensure the Sky leadership team makes informed and timely trading decisions
