Job Details

As a member of the Legal innovation team within Legal, you'll ensure Outside Counsel (OC) is managed effectively and efficiently across Sky group. This role will support design and delivery of the new platform and integration to existing systems. You will also lead the set-up of new operating model to deliver the vision, designing & building with help from internal and external experts.


What You'll Do:

  • Accountable for overall performance of OCM platform and processes. Day to day management of outside counsel (go-to point of contact for law firms and internal Sky people dealing with OC)
  • Handle the onboarding of new firms or sunsetting
  • Manage maintenance of panel and ad-hoc firms, including scheduling/initiating law firm performance reviews
  • Ensure that the platform is configured accurately and work with the vendor to continuously improve
  • Maintain Sky's billing rules and internal OC Guidelines
  • Support Finance with creating and maintaining OC annual budgets
  • Manage billing exceptions and support Accounts Payable
  • Control and approve law firm rate changes
  • Support and train users of the platform
  • Troubleshoot platform issues with vendor


What You'll Bring:

  • Experience of managing Legal outside counsel or using ebilling systems is highly desirable
  • Previously engaged with vendor management or procurement in a large company
  • Experienced in running RFP / Panel reviews for suppliers and working with procurement and AP financial systems
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication
  • Good analytical skills, data literate
  • Confident and proficient with Office products (word, excel, powerpoint, outlook)
  • Proficient consuming modern BI reporting (PowerBI , Tableau)
  • Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent
  • Adaptive to changing needs and tools with a proactive attitude
  • Ability to speak German or Italian is desirable
