As Payroll Clerk you will be supporting the Senior Payroll Manager in carrying out the payroll process for a portfolio of clients.

Timely payroll preparation and completion to strict deadlines for the company and it's employees
Resolution of escalated payroll queries and issues
Development and improvement of payroll procedures, processes and systems
Team supervision and leadership skills
Awareness of changes to current payroll legislation in order to advise the business on necessary changes
Complete support to the Payroll Manager and senior members of HR team
Ad hoc projects and payroll administrationProfile
The successful candidate will have a proven track record in all aspects of payroll processing.
You will be knowledgeable on payroll and government legislation relating to employee benefits and payments.
You must also have excellent communication skills in order to effectively liaise with staff and resolve their payroll queries in an effective, but sensitive manner.
You will ideally have payroll experience within a practice (desirable)
You will have prior experience using Sage (desirable)Job Offer
