This is an exciting opportunity to join a very well-established and successful family run company in the local area. The successful candidate will look after the day to day running of the Finance Office with one staff reporting. Duties will be varied and will include running the sales and purchase ledgers, raising of sales invoices and making timely supplier payments, banking, bank reconciliation and credit control and creating debtors' reports, cash book reconciliation, looking after petty cash, preparing and submitting timely VAT returns and preparing monthly management accounts for the Directors.

The accounts are run on Sage software, along side an industry specific package (training will be given), and they also use Excel for some of the work on the accounts.

This role is offering between 20 and 24 hours per week work, which can either be spread over 3 full days, or over 4 or 5 shorter days to suit. The company is able to accommodate school hours.
