Integration Engineer

We currently have a vacancy for a Integration Engineer at our site in Hillend and Christchurch.

We have a role within our business as we continue to deliver our existing project while also growing and developing new and innovative solutions for the future, working at the cutting-edge of technology.

This Integration Engineer role will offer you the opportunity to be part of a project team working across the country and will provide an excellent first step into the business. This exciting role will provide the successful candidate with excellent career opportunities across our programmes of work and provide great opportunities to gain experience working closely with our customers within their environments.

Your main responsibilities as a Integration Engineer will involve:

  • Understanding and interpreting customer requirements.
  • Creating high level and detailed system designs
  • Working within Agile, Scrum methodologies
  • Performing technical studies & producing associated reports with recommendations
  • Developing options for potential solutions
  • Producing technical documentation
  • Evolving existing ideas and providing innovative solutions
  • System Integration, through life support and test activities (functional and environmental)
  • Hardware assembly and installation
  • Peer reviewing of tasks and testing of infrastructure

Your skills and qualifications:

  • Proven track record of installation delivery and support experience within customers operational environments
  • Ability to communicate at all levels
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft and Linux operating systems
  • Development using CI/CD pipelines & tools
  • Flexible compute such as AWS, Azure, Google, Nutanix, VMware etc
  • Understanding of Cisco, Juniper, Palo Alto & Fortinet networking devices

Desirable Qualifications

What we are looking for in you:

  • Proven track record in the delivery of complex IT solutions.
  • Highly competent in a wide range of IT skills, including mobile devices, cloud environments, artificial intelligence, machine learning, data centres and servers, networking appliances and support infrastructure.
  • Ambitious engineers with a natural appreciation for technology.
  • Good academic background in relevant subject, for example Computing, Programming, Electronic Systems, Systems Engineering, Networking, Cyber, Physics
  • Innovators and inventors.
  • Good technical writing ability

Location: Hillend or Christchurch

Salary: Competitive
