Compliance Officer (Part time - hours negotiable - 25hrs per week)

GBP26,000-GBP29,000 pa Pro rata

We are currently recruiting for our client located in Bordon due to an internal promotion.

As Compliance Coordinator you will work closely with the Operations Manager and other stakeholders to ensure we remain compliant as a business and stay abreast of industry changes and certification.

Responsibilities:

* Implementation of industry regulated safe operational systems and procedures

* Managing risks and risk assessment at work for both locations - produce risk assessments

* Monitoring of safe working practices to ensure full compliance with health & safety legislation

* Prepare health and safety strategies and develop internal policy

* Establish a health and safety culture with positive attitudes and behaviours

* Lead in house training with managers and employees about health and safety issues and risks

* Work closely with the Operation Manager and Production Controller to investigate incident/accident and reporting, including root cause analysis and work with key stakeholders to rectify incidents

* Keep up to date with new legislation and maintain a working knowledge of all Health and Safety Executive legislation and industry standards and to communicate relevant industry developments

* Work alongside supporting the Production Controller to ensure regular quality inspections to check policies and procedures are being properly implemented and adhered to.

* Production and management of documents to ISO 9001 standard and proactively support the business compliance to RISQS

* Design, implementation and updating of the Company health and safety systems and procedures

* Produce and carrying out risk assessment

* Provision of professional advice and guidance to managers and team leaders for implementation of all H&S

* Organise and support Health and Safety meetings

* Oversee new staff induction Programme

* Accompany external inspectors when carrying out inspection visits on-site

Carbon Neutral

* Provide informed, evidence-based information and advice to the Directors and Management team n relation to carbon reduction, including energy management and the wider sustainability agenda.

* Working with external experts where appropriate to identify the best options for reducing energy related carbon emissions in a cost-effective way, including maximizing our use of renewable energy sources.

* To ensure that we are acting to improve energy efficiency by working with senior colleagues to develop and implement our strategy for reaching net zero.

* Monitor and reporting on our progress on a regular basis.

Skills

?? Experience in a similar role

?? Excellent coaching and communication skills

?? Broad knowledge of production planning processes

?? Strategic planning skills

?? Comfortable working in a full-scale manufacturing environment

?? Able to deal with complex issues in a fast-paced setting

?? Confident in communicating at all levels
