Monday - Friday Full or Part time - Full time is 9am - 5pm with a 4pm finish on a Friday

We are working with a longstanding manufacturing company based in Telford who are looking to recruit a new HR & Payroll Administrator. This role will be to cover the daily administrator duties within the HR department, as well as the payroll for the company. It would be ideal if you do have some experience of payroll to help you hit the ground running as quickly as possible. The core HR & Payroll duties are likely to take around 20-25 hours a week, so we could run this as a part time role. However, if you do want full time, they are happy to train you on some further Accounts and Finance duties which would them make the role full time.

Responsibilities and duties will include, but not limited to:

* Maintenance of personnel files

* End to end weekly and monthly payroll (20 weekly, 6 monthly)

* Management of the clocking in system and setting up better processes

* Producing and ensuring employee contracts are kept up to date

* Pensions

* Managing the new starters and leavers process

* Assisting with recruitment and supporting with interviews

* Working with the Training and H&S Manager

* Sending out employee correspondence

* Sitting in on interviews

* Reviewing procedures in line with current legislation

* Assist with ad-hoc duties within the finance team

Skills and Experience

To be considered for this opportunity you we would ideally like you to have some previous payroll experience to help you get up to speed as quickly as possible. The client is happy to provide further training on HR and Accounts/finance duties to help broaden the role as you settle in, but previous of this would be a strong advantage. You must be a self-driven individual who thrives in an environment where you can manage your own time and priorities your own work and can ensure that all tasks are completed within the deadlines.
