We have a great opportunity for an experienced Planner to join the Consumer Finance Conversion Marketing team within our Chief Customer Office. You'll work collaboratively on the planning and development of all conversion marketing activity across Loans and Car Finance products over 4 brands and multiple marketing channels.

Location & Ways of Working:

Our team is based in Bristol therefore we'll need you to be based a commutable distance from this area. We work in a hybrid model, splitting our time between the office and working from home.

As a Planning Manager, you'll:

  • Develop strategic marketing plans through assembling business strategy, market analysis, competitor landscape, customer insight, product knowledge and marketing channel expertise.

  • Establish collaborative relationships with key partners to align, design and deliver plans and shared objectives.

  • Monitor performance to plan, use data analysis to produce meaningful insight, making informed recommendations to continually adapt the plan based on value and efficiency, balancing customer needs and commercial objectives.

  • Manage budget, track spend against forecast across multiple campaigns and programmes of activity, informing decisions that make the best use of the bank's money.

  • Work with Campaign Managers to build test plans and understand campaign performance, using findings and results to feedback into the planning process.

You'll need to have:

  • Experience in performance and data-driven marketing. Ability to interpret performance data and interrogate insight to support decision making and inform actions to deliver optimum performance.

  • An inquisitive attitude with analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to cut through complexity and find a way to deliver on agreed objectives.

  • Proven track record of influencing and stakeholder management skills. Experience working within or for a large, complicated, and ideally regulated business.

Ideally, you'll also have:

  • Experience of strategic thinking, capable of coping with ambiguity.

  • Communication and storytelling skills, able to express your point of view, ideas, and solutions clearly and convincingly to partners.

  • Pan-channel marketing knowledge, with an understanding of the opportunities and constraints across paid, earned, and owned marketing channels.
