About the role

This is a high-performing EA role in a fast-paced start-up environment. Everyone wears multiple hats and is mega busy – you’ll bring vital executive support that frees up key members of the leadership team. You’ll primarily work closely with the CEO, but will also work with other members of the executive team and pitch in across the business.

  • Primarily EA duties helping the CEO and exec team with task management
  • The standard: diary, inbox, travel, expense management for the CEO and occasionally others
  • Project management, admin and support duties: this might be helping with recruitment processes or supporting the sales team; sometimes it could be pitching in on ad hoc projects on data-gathering, market research or video production
  • Supporting on events; leading if you’re up for it

About you

You’re exceptionally smart and capable. You might have experience in finance, capital markets, tech, or a successful start-up. But we’re more interested in your intellect and ability.

You thrive in a start-up culture. You’re not happy being a small cog in a big machine – you want your work to contribute as meaningfully as possible. You’re relentlessly organised and are able to organise others.

  • Impeccably organised
  • Stand-out communication skills
  • Good judgment and a pragmatic mindset: you don’t need every detail of a task spelling out to just get it done
  • Great with MS Office (and, ideally, more)

Nice to have

  • Experience of working in a high-performing scale-up environment
  • Any marketing experience
  • Experience with Pipedrive (any CRM experience is good)
  • Any knowledge of finance, capital markets, or tech

Benefits, culture, other need-to-know

Flexible working is our company standard. We’d approximate an hourly commitment per week and the role can’t be 100% remote – sometimes we’ll need you in the London office (Kings Cross) or around town (events). But if you’re the right person, we’ll make it work together.
