About the role

An exciting opportunity to join the growing Bodyshop team at Sytner Tamworth BMW/MINI has arisen.

We are seeking a Bodyshop Advisor to join our friendly, hardworking aftersales team. We would welcome applications from both experienced VDAs/Estimators and anyone with experience in a bodyshop front of house/reception role wishing to progress to incorporating an element of estimating in their day-to-day activities.

About You

You will have an understanding of bodyshop operations and enjoy assisting customers. You will be able to carry out Audatex estimates, liaise with insurance engineers for authorities, handle front of house activities, including seeing customers in and out and invoicing completed work on Kerridge, or have the willingness and ability to learn these skills with training. You will have the commercial acumen to identify and convert additional damage and the drive to tap into the opportunity for cosmetic repairs. You should be able to operate at a professional standard in keeping with the prestige brands we represent.

Ideally you will be used to dealing with high volumes of work, work well under pressure and be able to show evidence of time management, working to tight deadlines with confidence. A quantity of the work we do involves preparing BMW and MINI Approved Used Cars for sale, so an ability to foster constructive interdepartmental working relationships would also be highly beneficial. This is a target driven role and we are looking for somebody who enjoys the challenge of reaching a goal every month, but can balance this with a genuine desire to fulfil customers' needs and impress them with our service levels. Training on our systems and processes will be provided in-house, and ongoing development opportunities such as manufacturer training and qualifications could also be available.
