A new opportunity has arisen in the Customer Engagement & Value Generation team (within the Chief Customer Office, Consumer Relationships Business Unit), which will focus on creating plans to improve the marketing capability of different areas of Lloyds Banking Group.

The Customer Engagement & Value Generation team play a key role within CCO, designing and delivering customer engagement and demand conversion communications in order to deliver value for customers and the business. We work with teams across CCO, the Business and Platform teams to help deliver for our customers.

Working as a Marketing Manager within the newly formed Marketing Acceleration Team, you'll help to lead high profile projects designed to improve the marketing capability of different areas across the business. This will include understanding business objectives and developing marketing plans in response; identifying capability gaps and developing and agreeing plans to address those gaps.

Locations & Way of working

The team is currently based in London, working in a hybrid manner. Looking ahead, we expect key meetings, collaboration and workshops to be in London.

Passionate about delivering excellent customer outcomes?

We're looking for someone with experience of developing marketing plans/campaigns or project management skills. They should also have an appreciation of the importance of delivering business value and knowledge of customer segmentation.

Essential skills and experience:

  • Experience of working in teams passionate about customer strategy, communications, and customer experience

  • Marketing and / or project management experience

  • Ability to distil complex information, assess options and find opportunities using a logical and pragmatic approach

  • Excellent communication skills; evidence of creating outputs suitable for an exec level audience, demonstrating good judgement to successfully present ideas, issues and implications

  • Evidence of building and maintaining relationships across multiple teams and functions to collaboratively deliver initiatives

  • Ability to lead on the delivery of initiatives, work independently and be comfortable with deputising for the senior manager when needed

Other skills that would be desirable:

  • Experience of 121 marketing principles including segmentation, customer journeys and the delivery process

  • Experience in managing a team

  • Flexibility and resilience to manage changing priorities

  • Desire to work in a fast paced, strategic and customer centric environment
