L&Q’s Maintenance Services Systems Team is seeking a skilled and motivated Systems Analyst to join the team. The Systems Analyst reports to the Systems Manager and works with internal and external IT and supplier teams to provide customised COTS and bespoke systems support to our internal customers.  

Day to day activities will involve resolving issues with the systems used to issue repair work to our operatives. With up to 800 repair appointments a day any issues need to be resolved in a timely fashion. The post holder will be responsible for administering multiple business systems, ensuring operative and other required configuration data is correct and updated in order to allow the service to run optimally and to facilitate accurate operational reporting. Materials (eTrading) configuration, management and troubleshooting is also required. There are also scheduled tasks that need to be undertaken to support the operation and management information.  

You will have the ability to manage a varied workload including BAU technical support and improvement project related changes.  You will be a self-motivated, professional individual who is able to communicate and influence working with a wide range of stakeholders. 

You will need an advanced knowledge of repairs management and scheduling systems such as DRS, Total Repair and Total Mobile and the use of them to drive operational efficiency in a maintenance operation. The ability to identify areas in need of improvement through data analysis and trends is also required.

To be shortlisted you must be able to clearly demonstrate the following:

  • A commitment to providing excellent customer service
  • Excellent analytical skills to provide analysis of problems reported, gathering system information and testing resolutions, with escalations to internal teams or software suppliers where necessary
  • Broad range of communication and influencing skills both verbal and written
  • Ability to organise and prioritise
  • Knowledge of repair & field services applications, such as Advanced DRS, Total Mobile & Total Repairs including configuration and administration
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft applications – including intermediate Excel skills
