Are you interested in financial services technology research and looking to join a new and dynamic team and help shape what our future state of our technology stack will look like?

In this exciting new role within the Strategic Vendor Engagement team you will be supporting how Macquarie engages with our key suppliers, to develop, grow our relationships and partnerships. Providing innovative new solutions and identify suppliers to solve business problems and you will work alongside senior business and technology stakeholders.

This developing team adds commercial value to our businesses and technology.  Working in partnership with our largest and innovative suppliers to understand their product sets and how their products matched our own requirements.

As part of Macquarie’s motivated and agile global technology community, you’ll deliver value every day across technology and trading desks.

We anticipate to excel in this role, you will ideally have

  • Excellent PowerPoint skills (creation rather than delivery)
  • The ability to think analytically and problem solve
  • Being detail-oriented and capable of delivering a high level of accuracy
  • Worked with CRM tools
  • Strong Interpersonal and consultative skills
  • An interest in financial markets and related technologies
  • Analysis skills to review different products and create comparisons

It would be a bonus if you have

  • Prior experience as a Business Analyst
  • Supplier and product research and data gathering experience
  • Experience liaising with Procurement, Legal and other operating functions
  • Knowledge of financial services platforms
  • An interest in AI and data related products

Our team works across all teams within Macquarie, from working closely with senior business and technology teams, legal, group procurement and our suppliers.
