The Role

At Sky Connect we are looking for a Marketing Data Analyst that can interrogate data to gather insights for feeding decision making for the wider go-to-market team. You will be accountable for delivering on demand requests into the data team for adhoc insights and analytics, and will identify efficiencies by automating data processes where possible. You will support the Senior Marketing Data Analyst with key strategic projects such as data modelling to support with periodic demand planning. You will play an integral part of implementing data management and governance processes and policies.

What You'll Do:

  • Cleanse, monitor, augment and govern customer and prospect data in our 360 view
  • Deliver adhoc insights and analytics to meet business requirements; Manipulate, analyse and interpret complex data sets, understanding key trends to help feed decision making. Liaise with cross-functional stakeholders to help them understand the data
  • Deliver optimised datasets to drive prospect acquisition and customer retention & upsell campaigns. Ensuring adequacy, accuracy and legitimacy of data
  • A key member of the Data Governance Forum, supporting with the documentation and implementation of data governance policies and data quality processes
  • Support with demand modelling, utilising data to better understand our prospect and customer intent and eligibility and predicting performance across key Marketing channels
  • Identify areas to increase efficiency of analytics and reporting, and support with automation of processes

What you'll bring:

Enthusiasm for solving business problems with data and cutting-edge technology

  • Some experience in Data modelling or similar discipline, knowledge of data mining tools such as Modeller Saas, Python preferred.
  • Some data warehousing experience preferred, with knowledge on extracting and combining information from different data sources.
  • Strong Business Intelligence skills and the ability to bring data to life by building reports in our data visualisation tools: Power BI and Tableau
  • Big data and analytical skills, knowledge of tools for data analysis
  • Statistical analysis skills to feed decision making
  • Experience using data and analytics platforms and technology
  • Strong attention to detail, and ability to spot mistakes and anomalies in data
