A growing and highly successful specialist firm providing bookkeeping/payroll and wider accountancy services is searching for a Part Time FTC Payroll Manager with 100% remote working on offer to join the team. The contract will be for 9 - 10 months until end of June 2023 on a part time basis within a flexible firm culture, managing a team of experienced payroll professionals.

Client Details

This highly successful firm of accountants providing Bookkeeping/Payroll and wider accountancy services has undergone significant growth with a team of around sixty people and twelve within their specialist payroll department. The firm acts for wide ranging clients in sector and turnovers, with employee numbers typically ranging from around 30 - 100 employees and provides a great environment for the right payroll professional with excellent flexibility on offer with complete remote working, 100% from home entirely viable. The firm utilises IRIS payroll professional. Full or part time hours with flexibility to make up hours around busier month end periods, with time off at quieter times of the month for instance. Ideally 4 hours a day over 5 days a week could work well.

Description

Joining as a Part Time FTC Payroll Manager with 100% remote working on offer you will be responsible for overseeing a team of circa twelve payroll professionals, managing the delivery of payroll services (mostly monthly with some weekly/fortnightly) to a significant number of client payrolls. The contract will run until the end of June 2023. You will act as key go to support for your team, advising on legislative matters and supporting on complex payroll queries. You will undertake a full management focused position, supporting and managing the successful delivery of payroll services, along with providing support to the team. Ideally 4 hours a day over 5 days a week would work well.

Profile

For this Part Time FTC Payroll Manager with 100% remote working role you will have a payroll focused career background developed within either an accountancy practice or payroll bureau background, You will have demonstrable managerial responsibilities in addition, having managed and overseen a team of anything from 3 - 5 payroll professionals or more, supporting and advising your team and clients on legislative payroll matters and the whole spectrum of payroll queries. You will be interested and able to commit to a fixed tern contract for 9 - 10 months and looking for a part time role
