Job title: Sales Support Administrator

Salary: £23,370 - £27,060

Locations: Exeter

Hours: Full-time (37 hours per week)

Working Pattern: Our work style is hybrid, which involves spending at least two days per week, or 40% of our time, at one of our office sites.

About this opportunity:

Supporting our Cavendish business and reporting into the Assistant Business Support Manager, the purpose of this role is to support all members of our sales teams and their customers to ensure a smooth journey from referral to the cover being in force. You'll be responsible for looking after many different customers, ensuring that the cases are progressed to acceptance as swiftly as possible. It’s important we always work in alignment to our values.

What you’ll be doing:
  • Liaise with insurer regarding requirements of applications
  • Ensure the client is updated throughout the process, communicating clearly via telephone and email
  • Speak to GP surgeries and Nurses to gain updates on requirements
  • Take on ad-hoc tasks from Consultants/Advisers when cases need prioritising above the normal level of service
  • Adhere and contribute to Cavendish Online’s processes
  • Record details accurately on our CRM system
  • Be open and receptive to feedback and improvement suggestions
  • Proactively keep your knowledge as up to date as possible for the products available to you
  • Other administrative tasks as required to support this growing team

What you'll need:
  • A positive mindset with a willingness to learn
  • Experience of working within a customer service or administrative role
  • Proven ability to work to deadlines or service level agreements
  • Proactive and organised, with an ability to mange your workload
  • Great interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate confidently and clearly to a range of customers


It would also be useful if you had:
  • Experience of working within a financial services environment (e.g Banking, Insurance, Financial Advisors)
  • Experience of using a CRM system
  • Experience of data entry and Microsoft Excel use
  • Knowledge of protection products and a willingness to learn more about these
