Position Summary

We are proud of the Nespresso Boutique experience that we already deliver to you, and now delighted to launch The Nespresso Bar to offer that memorable experience in a different coffee moment.

As The Nespresso Bar Leader, you will play an integral part of leading the first in the UK of this new concept. You will lead a team of Barista’s and Senior Barista’s and be responsible for the entire daily operations as well as driving a culture of elevated customer experience to positively impact the success of the Bar. You will lead, inspire and motivate the team so that everyone performs to their absolute best. The Nespresso Bar Leader thinks outside of the Nespresso environment to actively network in the local neighbourhood, highlighting and executing opportunities to educate our customers on the cultural events that may be of interest to them.

A day in the life of a Bar Leader…

The Nespresso Bar Leader is an inspirational leader, who focuses on the care and development of their team to promote internal growth, build talent and maximise engagement. This role will also include:

  • Driving the Nespresso Bar to achieve a high performing Coffee Bar focussing on key KPIs.
  • Delegate effectively with a clear understanding of individual capabilities and development of the team; providing real-time feedback.
  • Lead the team in a shared commitment to the business objective of zero incidents by promoting a culture that always prioritises safety within the Boutique.
  • Is responsible for ensuring that the Bar remains compliant with all other Nespresso internal processes and standards.
  • Acting as an ambassador and leader for the Nespresso Brand and always looking for ways to innovate and develop.

 

What will make you successful?

The successful candidate will have experience managing a team in a fast-paced customer facing role ideally within a coffee environment where customer service is at the heart of what they do. Other attributes are:

  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.
  • A customer-centric mindset with a passion for delivering exceptional service and the ability to create a welcoming and friendly atmosphere.
  • Passion for coffee and a knowledge of working in a similar environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with various stakeholders.
