The Financial Planning and Retirement (FP&R) team is a customer centre of excellence for Engagement and Conversion Marketing, within Chief Customer Office. The team is responsible for planning and delivering the marketing activity to help meet the needs of our customers across their long- and short-term Financial Planning needs; in a way which leverages our understanding of audiences, uses data to drive effective Demand Generation, developing strong propositions linked to audience and creating effective Conversion funnels to support the customer through their individual journey.

We’re looking for an experienced Conversion Delivery Assistant Marketing Manager to deliver the Customer Plan for our investment products within LBG. You’ll support in the delivery of complex plans across a range of channels, from 1-2-1 direct marketing (direct mail and email) to digital channels (such as
display and PPC). Striving for excellence and developing campaigns to meet customer needs, you’ll make the most of core propositions and USPs to answer, ‘why should the customer care’.

You’ll support managing these delivery plans across internal and external agencies, incorporating stakeholder feedback and sign off - ultimately delivering to plan and to time. And your continuous learning will be important, helping in the development of strong test and learn strategies and performance analysis
to develop campaigns over time.

Investments and Pensions are key strategic growth areas for LBG, supported by the recent acquisition of Embark Group, and as a Investments Conversion Delivery Assistant Marketing Manager, you’ll play a key role by:
  • Working closely with business units, the wider marketing team, and the agency portfolio to develop and execute against campaign plans.
  • Analyse results and draw valuable and actionable insight and communicate these across a wider stakeholder group.
  • Leverage new conversion technology / capability as it comes on board, to consistently improve performance.
  • Ensuring accurate and effective day to day budget management.
  • Staying abreast of latest brand thinking, brand communications plans and customer insight, and applying to conversion plans.

You’ll need to demonstrate the following skills and experience:
  • Proven marketing experience, preferably in a large-scale complex conversion area.
  • Experience of working with internal business units and external agencies.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills.
  • An understanding of marketing communications development.
  • Able to work at pace and under pressure.
  • Taking ownership of tests and project plans.
  • Having a Financial Services background is not essential, however having a sound understanding and/or interest in Retail Banking and a desire to apply and grow your skillset with us, will be.
