Job Title: Business Development Capture Lead

Location: UK wide with travel internationally as and when required: We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements - please speak to your recruiter about the options for this particular role.

Salary: Negotiable, including executive benefits: car allowance and bonus

As a Business Development Capture Lead you will direct all aspects of our strategically important captures for exciting and challenging cutting-edge projects and winning the order in line with the specified terms.

This is exciting opportunity for someone with extensive business winning experience and experience in leading, managing and delivering strategically important and high value campaigns and captures.

What you'll be doing:

    Delivery of strategic business growth, through the pro-active pursuit of competitive opportunitiesDevelopment of a robust Capture plan and securing order intakeCreation of a compelling customer proposition which makes sound commercial sense for the businessDemonstrating a strong desire, to influence and shape existing and new customersManagement of internal stakeholders including the senior leadership team level and corporate functionsBe confident to present innovative approaches to solve requirements to a variety of customers and stakeholdersThe delivery of strategic campaigns from formulation to contract mobilisationLeading a virtual campaign team

Your skills and experiences:

    Experience in Business capture, solution development and business development with demonstrable successProven ability to secure complex big ticket captures, experience of bringing disruptive technology to market would be a strong advantageDemonstrate an understanding of key opportunities within the Defence / Land environment(s)Ability to converge technology development and market requirementsAbility to build strong relationships and influence customer thinkingCommercially astute with an ability to criticality evaluate a variety of business modelsExperience of successfully leading teams through change

The Business Development team:

The role will be part of the Business Development function reporting to the Business Development & Strategy Director and working closely with cross functional teams such as Legal, Procurement and Engineering amongst others. You will direct all aspects of our strategically important captures, winning the order in line with the specified terms and margin target, for a specific opportunity.
