Interaction Accountancy and Finance are working with a local client in their search for a temporary to permanent Accounts Assistant to join their team on a part time basis from their offices in Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire.

Working between 25 - 30 hours over the week, the client is flexible on start and finish times to accommodate the successful candidate.

Reporting to the Accounts Manager, this a varied role, where duties may involve the following:

  • Processing purchase ledger invoices, matching PO's to delivery notes
  • Maintaining supplier database, amending details as required
  • Reconciling supplier statements
  • Credit control
  • Processing monthly credit card and mileage expenses
  • Preparing sales invoices
  • Assisting with collating payroll information and timesheets
  • Resolving internal and external queries
  • Other duties to support the team when required

Applications are invited from individuals with the following skills and experience:

  • Previous experience in a varied finance role is essential
  • Experience with Sage would be advantageous
  • Team player with a flexible attitude
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision, with strong attention to detail
  • IT Literate, particularly with Microsoft Word and Excel

This is an office based role, where the successful candidate will be required to work on a temporary basis for the initial period before the contract becomes permanent. All applicants must currently reside within a commutable radius and be eligible to work in the UK.
