Salary: £56,421 - £68,959 basic salary, plus benefits

Locations: North West & Scotland / Midlands / South

Hours: Full Time

Working Pattern:Our work style is hybrid, which involves spending at least two days per week, or 40% of our time, at one of our office sites.

Join us as a Corporate BDM and you’ll be identifying and originating relationships for our corporate fleet prospect opportunities. Our team's hub is in Stockport, but our BDMs are primarily home based, with frequent travel across their regions for face to face prospect meetings.

Together with the leads you self-generate, you’ll have access to the Group’s commercial banking client base. This'll enable you to drive quality pipeline growth and develop long-term relationships with multiple partners within your prospective client organisations. Alongside the corporate fleet data lake and collaborating with a large in-house team of consultants, you'll be supported in enriching the quality of your prospect client interactions, to differentiate Lex Autolease from the competition.

Accountabilities will include:
  • Build balanced relationships with prospects from our non-franchise database, by exploring opportunities and engaging through a multi-channel approach
  • Research and network to identify the best prospect opportunities in your region, to grow the fleet through major new business client acquisitions
  • Develop innovative solutions to differentiate Lex Autolease in the client’s view and reach a targeted conversion rate to achieve new business sales objectives
  • Deliver on planned volume and profitability and conversion rates for delivering new Sole Supply customer relationships
  • Develop commercial terms to improve profitable, balanced business relationships, structure and handle effective P&L and concessions
  • Provide support and share standard process with colleagues on major deals or tender renewals

What you’ll need

  • A vehicle leasing or Asset Finance professional, you have significant new business experience, working with corporate clients with vehicle fleet sizes of 100+.
  • Proven track record of signing contract hire / fleet management deals across both cars and Light Commercial Vehicles, achieved through self-generated prospecting.
  • Strong financial and product foresight, and able to demonstrate knowledge of funding and fleet dynamics.
  • Thrive on proactively finding prospects, identifying client needs and problems, communicating and closing deals.
  • Self-starter able to work at pace.
