Job title: Project Manager - Delivery

Location: Barrow-In-Furness. We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements - please speak to your recruiter about the options for this particular role

Salary: From £56,000 per annum

What you'll be doing:

    Overseeing the delivery of a wide range of activities to enable delivery of our ProgrammesThinking strategically, to support business management and workforce planningManaging project costs, including forecasting, budget setting, and monitoringLeading a small team of project management professionals
Your skills and experiences:

    You will need to be a proven manager with experience of leading project teamsHave a strong Business acumen and an understanding of the commercial and contractual aspects of delivering projectsAn understanding of workforce and business planningExcellent written and interpersonal communication skillsHE/FE qualification in leadership, management or project management, or an equivalent professional qualification (e.g. APM PMQ, ChPP, CMgr, etc.)

The Nuclear Safety and Security Project Management Team:

The Nuclear Safety and Security Project Management Team supports the delivery of site-enabling services that are vital to the safe, secure and effective delivery of our Submarine Programmes. This is a unique opportunity to use your project and business management skills to play your part in a truly national endeavour.
