About this opportunity:

The Finance Platform is a team of c1000 colleagues within the wider Finance Division (c2,600) with responsibility for the core platforms, processes, financial reporting, controls, and transformation for Finance. It also supports Finance through provision of Divisional responsibilities, People & Culture initiatives, Systems & Data capabilities, and Strategy development.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated individual to join the Accounting and Statutory Reporting - Insurance Reporting feature team. To achieve this the team requires to rapidly develop a thorough understanding of the end to end data journey, processes and controls, from source system to reporting outputs. The candidate will be responsible for a range of challenging initiatives to ensure that we deliver customer value through excellence and execution.

The journey to new ways of working across the entirety of LBG has commenced through the Platform 2.0 transition programme. In the immediate future all change will be delivered using Agile practices and principles. Additionally, the Accounting & Statutory Reporting Lab is a dynamic lab with agile ways of working already at the heart of everything we do. As such it is essential to the role that the candidate has either Agile experience or brings with them the ability and desire to learn and adapt at pace.

This role is based in our Bristol hub. As we work in a hybrid way with 2 days per week from the office and from home the rest of the time, we encourage applications from any colleagues if they are prepared to travel.
