Group Audit and Conduct Investigations has an exciting opportunity for you to join as an Audit Analyst, providing you with the opportunity to support audits focused on third-party risk across the Group and make a meaningful impact to how the Group outsources and manages its supply chain.

About this opportunity

We're looking for someone with experience of supplier onboarding and / or supplier management to join a diverse and committed internal audit team working across the Lloyds Banking Group's global businesses as an Audit Analyst. This exciting role will provide the opportunity to collaborate with senior leaders and influence on a variety of audits assessing how LBG source, onboard and manage relationships with the Group’s most critical suppliers.

Responsibilities
  • Assist the Engagement Lead in the delivery of Audits by executing control testing.
  • Identify areas of concern, articulating the potential challenge
  • Assist in the activities relating to audit issue follow-ups, maintaining contact with key stakeholders.
  • Proactively identify, address and drive personal development opportunities and help create a positive learning culture based on effective coaching.
  • You'll be part of the third line of defence team responsible for providing assurance to the board over the way Lloyds Banking Group manages third-party supply chain risk. You'll contribute to audits in accordance with the agreed plan, harnessing a deep understanding of third-party risk to provide high quality independent assurance on the effectiveness of controls.

We’re on an exciting journey and there couldn’t be a better time to join us. The investments we’re making in our people, data, and technology are leading to innovative projects, fresh possibilities, and countless new ways for our people to work, learn, and thrive.

What you’ll need
  • Practical experience of third-party risk management. Areas of expertise will include an understanding of the regulatory landscape, outsourcing, supplier selection, supplier onboarding and supply chain management.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills demonstrating a commitment to good quality work and executing work to the highest possible standard.
  • Ability to build collaborative, trusting, and supportive working relationships.
  • Willingness to develop personal capabilities using existing formal and informal training opportunities.
  • Drive to take personal responsibility for learning new areas of audit which I have not yet been exposed to, stretching myself to support audit engagements.
  • Develop others by role modelling group values, giving and receiving feedback in a timely manner.

And any experience of these would be really useful
  • Internal audit or risk management knowledge and experience.
  • Experience of compiling reports or information for Senior Management.
