ABOUT THE JOB
The Data Tribe is responsible for Data and Analytics capabilities across the organisation. It is made up of around 200 people in a variety of roles across four subtribes responsible for various elements of the Data offering: 'Tooling & Integrations', 'Insights & Models', 'Data to Cloud', and 'Data Ingestion, Support & Centralised Operations'.

This role is responsible for co-ordinating these activities, so as well as working closely with leadership, you’ll be given the opportunity to work closely with other key functions within Admiral such as Finance, Department Support, Procurement, and many others therefore building good relationships is key.
This role is a great opportunity for somebody to experience working within a growing and evolving Technology environment without needing technical qualifications to apply.
Job Purpose
- Supporting the Data tribe with budgets, resourcing, and people-related activities.
- Ensuring the tribe’s financial records are accurate and provides information regarding resourcing plans and the budget.
- Facilitate communication and collaboration within the tribe and with other tribes and stakeholders.
- Ensuring resourcing suppliers are managed both from a performance and costing perspective.
- Supporting tribe with onboarding activities and regular communication meetings and events.
Accountabilities & Responsibilities
- Own and track yearly budget – update budget tracker with actual costs and produce monthly outgoings, showing actual spend against the forecast spend and work out variance.
- Track resource plan for the year against budget and ensuring alignment with the Finance team.
- Manage IT Data budget - ensure resources reflected in resource plan are accurate, meet with Squad leads in IT Data on a regular basis to validate and ensure resource costs are accurate (gather information on any new resources and make certain they have been captured within the budget).
- Ensure monthly headcount reporting is on track as per budgeted costs and process any variations in forecasted headcount.
- Work with Finance to validate actual expenditure and ensure data produced is aligned to what is in the budget.
- Manage flow of PO’s/invoices/forecast based on current run rate – Raise POs for new services, resolve invoice queries.
- Change Investment Committee (CIC) – ensure updates on all project progress are accurately reflected and reported on. Produce executive summary and report if projects are on track or not.
- Maintain relationships with external suppliers to ensure invoices are being received on a regular basis.
- Set up and manage onboarding and offboarding process within the Tribes.
- Run people workstream – set up monthly meetings within the workstream, log actions for the meetings and manage activity for the month. Report on activities and findings.
- Manage fun, R&R and incentive budget for IT Data.
- Support with audits.
- Adhoc – raising IT tickets for access, booking meeting rooms, organizing F2F meetings.

Interview Process
This will be a two-stage interview via MS Teams.
Location
You will be required to attend the Cardiff office a minimum of once every two weeks.
