Job Title: Systems Governance and Controls Specialist
Location: Glascoed, Wales or Frimley, Surrey. We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements - please speak to your recruiter about the options for this particular role.
Salary: £35,000 + depending on experience
What you'll be doing:
- Implementing Finance System controls to support Corporate Reform
- Monitoring compliance with Finance System controls and reporting outcome of reviews
- Monitoring user access using SAP GRC Access Control software to provide compliance against IT Financial Controls
- Supporting User Access Reviews to ensure compliance with IT Financial Controls for Finance Systems that are out of scope for SAP GRC
- Reporting issues and creating action plans to remedy any incidents of non-compliance via Metric Stream
- Liaising with IT support partners, System Owners and Governance Teams in process design
- Providing evidence for Audits performed by Internal and External Auditors
- Assisting with adherence and compliance to Governance Controls across Finance Operations
- Supporting projects to deliver against strategy & deliver continuous improvement to drive efficiencies
- Provide support to the DOA Database and to Supplier Assurance Reporting
Your skills and experiences:
- Proven experience within a financial systems control environment
- Experience of identifying risks associated with Data, Users and System Change
- Demonstrated experience in collaborating with both internal and external auditors, ensuring timely provision of essential documentation and evidence to meet audit requirements
- Understanding of project delivery methodologies, enabling effective support in maintaining project timelines and adherence to key principles

The Finance Governance Team:
This role sits within our Head Office Finance Function for Data and Systems, where you will oversee and enhance the governance activities and controls within our finance team. You will be responsible for reviewing existing risks and controls, improving processes to ensure compliance, and providing detailed reports on the compliance status. Experience with SAP GRC Access Control and exposure to systems like SAP S4 Hana and Access Database will be highly valued.
