Your Role:
Apollo Strategic Partner Syndicate (SPS) is in its third year at Apollo and continues to grow and evolve. In support of this successful growth, we are now seeking a Senior Delegated Facilities Technician to join the business.
This newly created role will provide leadership, technical expertise, and support to Apollo’s Strategic Partner Syndicate clients’ assisting them with on-boarding their Delegated Facilities portfolios into the Lloyd’s Market, including full Lloyd’s Sponsorships.
What you’ll do:
Stakeholder engagement is pivotal within this role, encompassing engagement from clients, brokers, and appointed outsources to wider Apollo internal teams and functions.
The role requires the successful applicant to drive the ongoing application of Apollo’s Third Party Oversight Framework for SPS clients’ including ongoing due diligence, mid-term changes, bordereaux management and audit management.
A key part of the role will be to manage outsource relationships in this regard including obtaining monthly Management Information (MI) to monitor performance at the Delegated Authority Oversight Group.
Responsibilities include:
- Interact directly with underwriters and SPS clients to provide leadership, technical expertise, and guidance on all matters related to delegated facility portfolios.
- Undertake due diligence (both onboarding and ongoing) to enable SPS clients and their third-party contracts of delegated authority (such as Binding Authorities, Consortia, Line slips and Master/Group Policies) to meet Apollo’s risk appetite standard, consumer duty and regulatory compliance.
- Undertake bordereaux management and process third-party data to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
- Deliver audit management ensuring all lead third-party contracts have annual audits scheduled, audits reports are processed to standard and audit recommendations are successfully remediated.
- Assisting in maintaining Apollo’s Delegated Facilities Management System.
- Assist in the general management of key processes as they relate to delegated facilities including Premium Income Monitoring, Product Governance and Internal Audits.
- Contribute as a standing member to both the Delegated Facilities Oversight Group and Conduct Group.
- Liaison with other internal teams as required including Operations, Finance, Exposure Management, Claims and Actuarial to resolve day-to-day queries.
What we are looking for:
- Experience of Lloyd’s Sponsorships with applicants being domiciled worldwide, including UK/North America and EEA
- Good knowledge of Lloyd’s systems and processes regard to Sponsorships.
- Excellent communication skills, confident engaging and managing the on-boarding process with both internal and external stakeholders at all levels.

- Atlas – Electronic filing and online application system for Coverholders
- DCOM– Delegated Contract and Oversight Manager
- DAM - Delegated Audit Manager
- Crystal - Lloyd's international regulatory and taxation requirements
- Binding Authority QA Tool – Lloyd’s Quality Assurance Tool
- Wordings Repository – Contract Certainty
- Basic understand of Power BI.
