Your Purpose

As our Infrastructure Operations Manager, you’ll play a key role in ensuring the key IT infrastructure services delivered to Molson Coors business are both efficient & effective. This role covers our EMEA APAC division, with a dotted line route into the Environment & Infrastructure management team in Global IT Service Operations.

This role is accountable for the oversight of 3rd party IT Service Providers, specifically for the ongoing operation, maintenance and support of Molson Coors Cloud services and network infrastructures.

You’ll work closely with your peer in North America and ensure the EA division has a ‘seat at the table’, and that you are driving the EA agenda, providing EA feedback and/or strategy in to the global infrastructure model.

There are opportunities for process improvements and efficiency gains and you will be expected to challenge existing models and propose enhancements to meet regional needs. The role will predominantly be EMEA APAC focused but there will be opportunities to work on global initiatives. 

Additionally, you’ll oversee and manage infrastructure projects from conception to completion. You’ll need to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet quality standards from an Infrastructure perspective. 

This is a remote working role, and could be based in the UK, Ireland, Romania, Croatia or Czech Republic.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for managing relationships with third parties and internal staff to ensure the effective running of IT infrastructure and Cloud, ensuring consistent adherence to and proper execution of agreed policies and procedures by all parties while identifying and developing process and solution improvement opportunities. 
  • Accountable to ensure activities associated with the monitoring, analysis and reporting of infrastructure service provider performance versus SLA’s and agreed requirements are in place and effective. 
  • Accountable to address service delivery infrastructure outages, incidents and problems, ensure proactive plans are in place to identify and fix root cause analysis findings. Ensure operational excellence driving a high degree of up time and availability for Molson Coors critical infrastructures. Coordinate across IT and various service providers execution of the company's disaster recovery and business continuity plans. 
  • Shared accountability for the process of management, monitoring and prioritizing infrastructure upgrades, patches & maintenance requests, managing risks and End of Life scenarios to obtain maximum asset value and efficiency. Works closely with project teams, application and service transition management to ensure that new services, upgrades & projects brought into the production environment are supportable.  and do not adversely impact the companies critical core processes and systems. Patching & Vulnerabilities management.
  • Escalation point for IT infrastructure operations concerns from the business and IT Management. Accountable to ensure all business impacts are identified, discussed and communicated to the appropriate leadership teams as part of the service delivery and reporting cycle. 

About You:

  • Experience in an IT operations management role.
  • IT infrastructure experience in an area of expertise (server, storage, networking) with experience managing or leading insourced and/or outsourced operations teams in a large-scale mission critical environment.  
  • AWS / Azure experience required.  
  • Experience in a large, matrix organisation, ideally in a CPG/beverages company.
  • Experience with large IT outsourcing providers & track record in effectively managing high value outsourced services.  
  • Ability to communicates persuasively and effectively.
