Your purpose

These roles have become available due to internal promotions and the introduction of our new Equal Parent Leave policy. Currently, we’re seeking a Finance Systems Analyst to join our team.
This role can be based out of our Burton Head Office on a Hybrid basis or fully remotely from Home!
As a Finance Systems Analyst, you will serve as a subject matter expert, ensuring the integrity of our Finance systems while supporting the delivery of key Finance projects. collaborating with teams across Finance, IT, and the broader business, you'll identify and implement solutions to system and process challenges. Your focus will be on driving automation, standardisation, and simplification to enhance our systems and processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- SAP Finance/Controlling (FI-CO) support act as subject matter expert on SAP FI-CO
- Day to day responsibility for supporting on all FI-CO
- Collaborate with the Finance team to identify business pain points and assess how FI-CO functionality can be better leveraged or enhanced to resolve issues or improve efficiency.
- Engage as appropriate with Finance, Global Controls & Governance and IT to implement changes
- Provide finance system partnering to a wide range of stakeholders, ensuring effective collaboration across Finance/ Business users (including GBS), IT, Business Process Excellence team and 3rd party service providers
- Develop and deliver FI-CO related training to end users
About you:
- Prior working knowledge of SAP BI
- Working within a similar role within a Finance Enviroment
- Strong communication skills, ability to work with a wide range of stakeholders and communicate issues in both a technical and non technical manner
- Analysis and critical thinking skills
- Ability to adapt to changing business priorities and new business initiatives
- Full understanding of SAP FI-CO integration points with other SAP modules
- Process orientated - solid understanding of accounting and finance processes and the interaction of those processes with wider business processes
