Tradewind Recruitment are currently seeking a reliable, energetic, and patient part time Teaching Assistants to join a vibrant Special Educational School located in Scunthorpe, starting ASAP on a part-time basis. The roles that are available are flexible and are based on 1 - 3 days a week which.

The successful candidate will have experience in supporting children and have some experience or knowledge of SEND. Experience of care and support working is also desirable. The roles will include supporting pupil with physical disabilities and complex needs.

The school has impressive facilities and a well-respected team of staff, including experienced teachers. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting pupils to raise achievement, independence, and self-esteem. They will need to have excellent communication skills, both oral and written.

To be successful in this role of part time Teaching Assistant, the candidate will need:

Experience of supporting children

The ability to support pupils with Special Educational Needs

Understanding of safeguarding children

Experience of nurture and behaviour management

Supportive with high expectations of behaviour management

Confidence in using ICT and willingness to learn new skills

The ability to work independently, show initiative, and be part of a team, collaborating with other staff A fun personality with a good sense of humour
