Job title: Project Management - Project Planning & Control (Change Management Office) Practitioner

Location: Various. We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements - please speak to your recruiter about the options for this particular role

Salary: Up to £45 000 depending on skills and experience

 

What you'll be doing:

  • Able to perform intermediate project reporting and scheduling
  • Monitor the progress of business change management activities and provide insightful recommendations
  • Provide regular and meaningful reports to stakeholders on the delivery of business change
  • Identify, assess and manage risks arising from business change management activities
  • Ensure business change management activities are incorporated into project LCM activities
  • Support the sector transformation reviews and reporting
  • Identify, assesses and manages risks, actions, issues & decisions to the success of the project including through life management
  • Provide advice on business change management activities to stakeholders and senior executives when required
  • Query resolution of basic and routine problems
  • Administration and general office skills including spreadsheets/ Microsoft packages

Your skills and experiences:

Essential:

  • Good knowledge and understanding of Project Control policies, processes, procedures and systems
  • Good understanding of one or more Project Control tools techniques and practices
  • Experience of working with stakeholders typically inside the company
  • Knowledge acquired through job related training and on the job experience, generally non-theoretical skills
  • Ability to gather information and disseminate as required

Desirable:

  • A basic awareness of change management tools and techniques
  • Awareness of business improvement philosophies & toolsets
  • Awareness of LCM, Assurance and governance frameworks
  • PM Qualification such as the APM Project Management Qualification

The Change Management team:

As a Project Planning & Control (CMO) Practitioner, you will be helping to support, coordinate & deliver transformation projects across the Maritime & Land businesses and liaise with other change leads across the sector. You will ensure the Change management activities across the sector are supported, defined, unified & coordinated to achieve the required outcomes. This is a new team within the M&L sector to support the transformation portfolio over the coming years.
