Job Title: Assistant Project Accountant

What you'll be doing:
- Provision of financial support & advice to customers and stakeholders
- Supervise, maintain and operate financial systems and processes in a constantly changing environment
- Resolve problems to ensure development/production timescales are met across projects
- Provide helpline to internal and external customers
- Effective liaison with other functions involved in the projects
- Analysing data, updating spreadsheets, graphs, and reporting packs
Your skills and experiences:
Essential:
- Relevant information knowledge or experience on major capital investment programmes
- Significant experience of working with stakeholders across multiple functions and grade structures
Desirable:
- Previous experience of undertaking data analysis/interpretation of financial information would be advantageous
- Working towards an AAT qualification

The Cost Control team:
The Alliance Cost team is responsible for providing assured costing data for each of the parties which will be capable of supporting annual and quarterly costing exercises for the UK premier defence programme working on complex data to tight deadlines. You will support the Cost Control team by ensuring costs are identified, managed, and controlled and aids the production of financial reporting requirements.
Within this role there will be opportunities for further training and career progression. We offer relocation support packages across all Submarines roles, subject to meeting eligibility criteria.
