Job Title: Head of Business Change - Finance Global Process Office

Location: Flexible, some travel will be required to collaborate with the wider team. We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements - please speak to your recruiter about the options for this particular role.

Salary: £85,000 + depending on experience plus executive benefits

 

What you'll be doing:

  • Leading the business change, engagement, communications, and training approach for the Finance GPO
  • Representing business change on all relevant GPO, Finance and Business governance forums (as appropriate), including the Finance Change Demand Process
  • Providing status reporting (as appropriate) on the design and delivery of business change initiatives, including successes, risks and issues or requests for support, at a project or portfolio level
  • Working with the GPO leadership to develop and maintain detailed stakeholder engagement & communication plans, supported with the development of relevant change and communications tools / materials
  • Developing change strategies that align with established BAES Business Change and Capability Centre ways of working - and appropriate to the project deployment approach (agile, waterfall or hybrid)Monitoring the effectiveness of business change interventions and ongoing levels of business change readiness across the GPO change landscape - providing status updates and adjusting ways of working as required
  • Maintaining an aligned view of the GPO and broader Finance change landscape through ongoing collaboration and planning with other change teams working across Finance, incl. Finance Modernisation and Ad Astra

Your skills and experiences:

Essential skills:

  • Proven experience delivering end to end business change programmes (systems and non-systems based)Demonstrated understanding in the application of recognised Business Change Management theory and methodologies, e.g. ADKAR by Prosci, Kotter's Eight Steps to Change, Bridges Transition Model
  • Experience designing and building Change Frameworks and toolkits
  • Good understanding of project management approaches, tools and phases of the project lifecycle

Desirable skills:

  • CMI, APMG or other suitable Business Change accreditation such as PROSCI
  • Experience working with HR and Leadership to facilitate effective, people-centric consultation processes
  • Working understanding of high-level finance business processes e.g. Record to Report

The Finance Global Process Office team:

Working within the Finance Global Process Office team will give you the chance to shape Business Change from the onset, making a huge impact and influencing across the entire enterprise.

 

The Finance Modernisation Programme involves improving finance as a function and the BAES financial management environment in a dynamic and ongoing manner.

 

As the Finance GPO Head of Business Change Management, you will lead the cross-functional delivery of GPO business change management, providing the change, communication, engagement, and capability building expertise, strategies, plans, tools, and collateral to support the GPO realise its ongoing vision and objectives.
